MJS & Associates, LLC Privacy Statement

MJS & Associates is committed to protecting your privacy. In order to provide you with our services, it is necessary for MJS & Associates to collect, store, process, transmit, and otherwise handle private information. All such activities at MJS & Associates is intended to be consistent with both generally accepted privacy ethics and standard business practices.

Definition of Private Information

Private Information means any information relating to an individually identifiable person. Such information includes name, address, telephone number, address, social security number, driver's license number, and personal business transaction details. Statistical reports or other collections of information in which specific persons are not individually identifiable are not considered private information.

Use of Private Information

MJS & Associates will not sell, rent, or trade the private information that MJS & Associates or its partners collect. In general, MJS & Associates may collect, process, store, transmit, and disseminate only that private information which is necessary for the proper functioning of its business.

Consent for Collection Required

The collection of private information about potential customers and others with whom MJS & Associates does business may be routine, customary and expected. However, MJS & Associates employees shall not collect private information from customers or potential customers without having first obtained their knowledge and consent.

Consent for Uses Required

Before a customer discloses private information, all MJS & Associates representatives shall inform the customer about the ways that this private information will be used.

Opting Out From Unsolicited Contacts

MJS & Associates customers shall be given an opportunity to inform MJS & Associates that they do not wish to be contacted via unsolicited direct mail, telemarketing, and related promotions. MJS & Associates staff shall faithfully observe and act on these customer requests. MJS & Associates employees shall diligently observe the unconditional right of data subjects to: block data about themselves from being included in mailing lists or calling lists, block the sale of data about them to third parties, and to have data about them erased from direct marketing lists.

Disclosure of Private information

Customers will be offered a choice whether or not to allow MJS & Associates to use or disclose personal data in a way not described in this policy. Customer consent must be received in writing (or a legally equivalent electronic form) before MJS & Associates will use or disclose any personal data.

Security of Private Information

MJS & Associates maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect private information. Further, MJS & Associates will make commercially reasonable efforts to comply with applicable laws to guard personal data against loss, unauthorized access, destruction, misuse, modification, and improper disclosure. In addition, MJS & Associates will make commercially reasonable efforts to assure that third parties or partners to whom we transfer any private information will provide sufficient protection of that information.

Enforcement

MJS & Associates Security Department will promptly review and investigate every allegation that this Policy has been violated. As part of this review and investigation, the MJS & Associates Security Department will review any relevant processes and procedures to determine whether changes are necessary to prevent a recurrence of any substantiated violation of this policy. The MJS & Associates Security Department will review any violation of this Policy to determine the appropriate disciplinary action.
